- Here's the recipe I use. I think it originally came from the Frugal
- Gourmet's first cookbook, but I've adapted it to my own tastes over the
- years...

- 2 cans chick peas: one drained, one with juice
- 1/2 cup tahini (sesame seed paste)
- fresh juice from 1/2 lemon
- 2 garlic cloves
- dash of cumin

- Blend everything together in a food processor or blender. Adjust
- seasonings to taste (I often add more garlic and lemon, very rarely
- salt). Serve with warm pita bread and veggies.

- BTW: NEVER make it without the tahini. It just isn't the same!
